Have you heard of the Bigs & Littles Blogging Network? No? Well, you can thank Chelsee from Southern Beauty Guide for this blogosphere gem, and can read all about it here. Basically, the program pairs up ‘big’ bloggers with ‘little’ bloggers, giving Bigs the chance to pass on their knowledge and Littles the opportunity to learn from people who have been there and done that.
I was lucky enough to be paired up with the exciting and quirky Allison, from Allison Leighann. Allison turned out to be an upbeat, book-loving college girl from the US, who’s lifestyle blog proved to be a great read. As my blog Big, she answered any bloggy questions I had and was very patient with me! We exchanged sidebar ads, and Allison introduced me to the HerCampus network – a network of women across the globe who love to blog.
While predominantly for American collegiate (with a sorority-like set up), there are opportunities for people in all countries, and I’ve been enjoying the chance to network and join another online community in which bloggers can share and ask questions.
I’ve really enjoyed the Bigs & Littles Network – Round 1! Chelsee is taking a break before starting the next round, but when the time comes I’ll definitely sign up again! It’s fun meeting new people and learning new tips and tricks from them. Networking is a huge part of the blogosphere, and I love all of the different ways that bloggers connect with one another! Definitely check out the details over at Chelsee’s, and hopefully I’ll see you in the next round!
